The IV International Seminar on Pedagogical Practice – ISPP 2021 offers the following themes: Education, Pedagogy and Didactics; Educational Management; Natural Sciences, Teaching and Applications (Biological physics, Chemical physics and physical chemistry, Computational science, Education and communication, Mathematical physics); Quality of Education; Pedagogical Practice and Teacher Training; Mathematics, Statistics and Mathematical Education; Education and Society.
The event will take place on August 26 and 27, 2021 on the campus of the Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander in San José de Cúcuta - Colombia. Due to the current situation of preventive isolation and the regulations established by the government regarding the realization of massive events, it is proposed to carry out a hybrid event which will have some presentations (limited and defined by the Organizing Committee which will also be transmitted via internet) that comply with biosafety standards and the rest will be transmitted in a synchronized way through the internet by the various communication channels available such as Facebook, Youtube, among others. This will be a space for training and academic cooperation that will emerge as a scenario for the construction, exchange and development of research and training proposals that are aimed at consolidating innovation processes in education and pedagogical practices.
The Faculty of Education, Arts and Humanities of the Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander, is in charge of its organization and the academic community at all educational levels and fields of knowledge is invited to participate and reflect in order to strengthen the teaching process through pedagogical practices that guarantee learning.
The IV International Seminar on Pedagogical Practice – ISPP 2021 offers two presentation modalities to suit the preferences of the participants. All proposals must initially submit an abstract of no more than 300 words. The presentation modalities are Short Communication and Conference; the short communication will have a space of 15 minutes, while the Conference has 30 minutes. In both cases, five minutes will be allotted for questions, which will be deducted from the time allotted for each modality of participation.
Communication proposals can be written in Spanish or English. All proposals, regardless of the type of presentation format (short communication or conference) will be certified as a communication. Certificates will only be issued to participants who pay the registration fee of $50.000 for all public and fill out the form found in the following link, depending on the type of participation. If you apply as a speaker, you do not need to register as a participant.
All communication proposals, as well as their length, must contain the following structure and should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org:
- Title of the communication.
- Author(s) and contact information.
- Thematic axis of the seminar in which it is framed.
- Introduction mentioning the main objective, the context in which the research takes place, some theoretical references and relevant aspects.
- References (APA 7th Edition)
Papers approved for participation in the event will have an investment according to the cost of shipping for publication in the journal selected to present the results of the research. Likewise, the event's memoirs will be published with ISSN in which all the presentation summaries will be reported.
Aimed at teachers of all educational levels (basic, middle and higher), researchers in Education and other disciplines interested in the field of teaching practices, teachers in training and graduate students.
